Spring

Starting in early May with the arrival of the first ferocious Bluefish, schoolie Striped Bass, jumbo Porgies, and the opening of Fluke season the year is underway and gaining steam by the day. Early May and into June is a great time to target hungry Bluefish, Stripedbass, and the spring run of doormat fluke off the south side of Montauk, as they chase squid and a plethora of bait in from the continental shelf. As we get into June the Striped bass action really gets heated up with acres of Bass and Bluefish tearing up everything in sight and the potential for very large trophy sized Stripedbass.

Summer

Summer is a time when we see constant Striped bass action build from trophy sized-to slot sized keepers. It is also a time for limits of Huge Seabass, Porgies and Doormat Fluke under beautiful weather. Its Summer you cant go wrong!

Fall

Fall is the time when the fishing gets very good as the fish sense the change in temperature and prepare for their migrations. Striped bass will feed actively on top and can be caught many different ways. Fluke fishing nears its close and some of the biggest and largest catches will come in late August through the close in late September. There is also the plentiful Seabass and Porgie fishing occuring. As we move towards early October we will start to target Tautog aka Blackfish. This fishing is very fun and rewarding.
